The Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre (WCEC) is the capital’s first premium conference and exhibition space, due to be completed in 2022. This innovative new facility will provide 18,000 square metres of multi-purpose conference and exhibition space for public touring exhibitions, large conference and trade exhibitions and business events.
In addition to two levels of dedicated convention space, the ground floor exhibition gallery will showcase leading international touring exhibitions, attracting visitors to the city and Wellingtonians alike. This level will also feature two cafés, a courtyard garden and a public concourse that links Cable Street and Wakefield Street.
